Part of the Motorcycle Series created for the exhibit "2 Wheels + Motor" which debuted at the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum in Pickerington, Ohio and later traveled to the National Motorcycle Museum, "Cruizin'" embodies the freedom of cruising the highway through the farm fields of the Midwest.
Katherine Crowley was born 1976 in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Miami University with a BFA and works professionally in the graphic design field. Ms. Crowley is a painter, bronze sculptor, photographer, and mixed media artist whose work has been exhibited around the world and is held in many private collections. Ms. Crowley’s artwork tells a variety of stories through symbolic imagery and design. Her work ranges from personal stories to iconic images of meaningful locations she has visited. Through her work she conveys personal symbolism, drawing influence from her childhood memories, traditional symbolism, and personally significant precious objects.
